Founded in 2010, the Cory Cross Foundation (CCF) is a non-profit [501(c)3] dedicated to compassionately providing financial and emotional support to families with children fighting cancer. In addition, CCF also supports Riley Hospital for Children, organizations dedicated to childhood cancer research and local programs supporting youth. Our inspiration comes from Cory and the family, friends and even strangers that provided the same type of support to Cory and his family during his courageous 4 1/2 year battle. Cory was a miraculous little boy with an amazing spirit and love for life. Cory's infectious smile and laugh, his bright, expressive eyes, and selfless personality easily won the hearts and friendship of everyone he met during his remarkable journey on earth. Cory will be forever missed by his loving family and friends!
The Miracle League of Henry County was started from a mother's heart. Watching her daughter, Hannah, who has cerebral palsy and a rare terminal blood disorder, want so badly to be part of the games and activities her brothers enjoyed inspired President and Founder Cindy Brooks to create something where every child could belong. We want children and adults with different disabilities to experience the joy of baseball, teamwork, friendship, and being celebrated for who they are. What began as a dream has grown into a community filled with love, inclusion, and opportunity. The Miracle League is more than baseball; it is a place where everyone deserves the chance to play.
We are Knightstown Kids Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in 2015 with a mission to promote youth sports, support educational opportunities, and improve the quality of life for local youth. We believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed through positive experiences and community involvement.
We proudly sponsor youth sports programs, including volleyball, soccer, and other recreational activities that help children build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. We also support the Knightstown Cheer Guild, which provides Christmas gifts, clothing, toys, and food to local children and families in need during the holiday season. In addition, we have provided sponsorships to help children attend camps, educational programs, and special events that might otherwise be out of reach. Through the generosity of our supporters, we continue working to create opportunities, encourage personal growth, and make a lasting difference in the lives of local youth.
